Rafting

Rafting is available in our area on several local rivers, ranging from Class II to Class IV. Half day and Full day Rafting tours are available. Tours include transportation, professional guide, all equipment, and a late lunch in most cases. This high adventure activity requires a certain amount of physical strength and dexterity, while knowing how to swim is not necessary we do recommend that you feel at home in the water. Class I safari float is also available for those looking for a more relaxing time.

Canyoning

One of the most exhilarating adventures in La Fortuna. This tour includes hiking and down climbing through beautiful river canyons, and rappelling both on dry rock walls and down waterfalls of varying heights. Bilingual guides and high quality professional equipment will assure your safety as you push yourself to the limit. Be prepared to get wet, so rain or shine this is a great option to fill your time in La Fortuna. Half day tours depart several times a day, lunch included.

Canopy

Challenge yourself to fly through the trees! This ever popular Ziplining tour gives you the opportunity to see the gorgeous rainforest from a whole other perspective as you zip through the tree canopy of an impressive tropical rainforest. Scientists estimate in the rainforest most plant and animal life is not found on the forest floor but in the leafy world known as the canopy. The canopy, which may be over 100 feet above the ground, is made up of the overlapping branches and leaves of rainforest trees. Scientists estimate that 70-90% of life in the rainforest is found in the trees making this the richest habitat for plant and animal life. Many well-known animals including monkeys, frogs, lizards, birds, snakes, sloths, and small cats are found in the canopy.You will be strapped into a high quality harness at all times, and professional guides will be with you all the way.
